Nachdem all das nichts gebracht hatte, begann ich nun, den Kontakt zu einer geeigneten weiblichen Person zu suchen, die dem HoneckerStaat ebenfalls ablehnend gegenüberstand und über familiäre Beziehungen in den Westen verfügte.

Von westdeutschem Boden aus konnte ich ohne große Gefahr eine Meldung an die beruflichen Gegenspieler absetzen. In Frage kam eigentlich nur ein Brief. Doch an wen sollte ich den adressieren? An den Herrn Präsidenten des Bundesnachrichtendienstes? Das konnte schon die Neugier eines Postbeamten wecken, mit allen unwägbaren Folgen. An die nächste Polizeidienststelle?
